The Pensacola Civic Band invites you to “A Century of Pensacola’s Music,” a special concert celebrating the rich musical heritage of our city over the past 100 years. This event will take place on April 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Amos Performance Studio at WSRE.

Celebrating Pensacola’s Musical Legacy

For the past century, Pensacola has been a vibrant hub for diverse musical genres and performances. From jazz and blues to classical symphonies and contemporary pieces, our city’s musical landscape reflects a tapestry of cultural influences and artistic expressions. This concert aims to honor and showcase the evolution of music in Pensacola, paying tribute to the artists and performances that have left an indelible mark on our community.

Under the direction of conductor Doug Holsworth, the Pensacola Civic Band will perform a thoughtfully curated selection of pieces that represent each decade of the past century. Audiences can expect to hear a blend of classic favorites and contemporary works, each chosen to highlight significant moments and movements in Pensacola’s musical history.

Tickets are available for $15 at the Pensacola State College box office at the Ashmore Auditorium and online through the PSC Box Office.

Location: Amos Performance Studio at WSRE, 1000 College Blvd, Building 23, Pensacola, FL 32504.

The studio is located on the campus of Pensacola State College, across from the Pensacola International Airport, at the corner of College Blvd. and 12th Ave. The entrance is on the west end of the Kugelman Center for Telecommunications, with ample parking available for attendees.
